Job Description:
As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates in a variety of roles within the construction industry. You will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, identify top talent, and ensure the right candidates are hired for the job. This role is vital in helping us build high-performing teams that will contribute to the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with hiring managers to determine recruitment needs and job requirements for various construction-related positions (e.g., project managers, site supervisors, laborers, estimators).
Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
Source candidates using a variety of methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
Screen resumes and applications, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate interviews, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
2+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably within the construction or trades industry.
Strong knowledge of construction roles, terminology, and industry-specific requirements.
Proven ability to source, assess, and recruit top talent for a variety of positions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
